Vinalhaven, Maine, Yoga Retreat September 11-14, 2014
with Anthony Tomasi and Ashley Aarti
September marks our transition from summer to autumn, and opens a perfect opportunity to retreat and rejuvenate before colder weather and busier schedules wrap around us. Celebrate the change of seasons with yoga instructors Anthony Tomasi and Ashley Aarti Cooper on the small island of Vinalhaven, Maine, for four days of Yoga, delicious food and outdoor adventures. Designed to awaken or reinvigorate the Shakti, the creative and potent power, of your Yoga on and off the mat, the retreat takes place on an 11-acre oceanfront property as a total sensory experience. Take advantage of this opportunity to enter into a place of contemplation, exploration and discovery with the support of guides and fellow practitioners. Come. Learn. Rejuvenate. Be Free.

Meet Your Guides
Anthony Tomasi, Trip Leader and Instructor
Anthony is an extremely grounded soul with many dimensions. A MA native, he began his study of vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga and it immediately took hold. He has been dedicated to teaching challenging, creatively-sequenced classes that logically lead up to a key asana or the opening of a particular part of the body since the fall of 2010. Anthony endeavors to constantly learn more about yoga in all its forms and expressions, and to practice off the mat as well as on. His other passions lie in the art of archery hunting, the skill of hockey, and the satisfaction of being an uncle.
Ashley Aarti Cooper, Trip Leader and Instructor
Ashley Aarti is a yoga instructor, writer and nature-adventure guide. She is originally from MA, but currently resides in Tahoe, CA, where she works with local ski resorts and adventure trip companies to offer life-changing experiences in the wild forests of Northern California. Ashley has been teaching yoga for half a decade, and practicing for twice that long. She loves theme-based, spirt-expanding classes that challenge her and her students and reinforce the living of an impassioned life.
